Offering Myself

In the Spirit of the Gracious and Compassionate
Creator of the Heavens and the Earth

Lester A. Knibbs aka Doctor Hakeem

Allah has blessed us. Not just me, but each and every one of us.

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ

wa-ammaa bi-ni`mati rabbika fa-haddith

“And regarding the blessing from your guardian-evolver, proclaim it.”

(Qur’an 93:11)

When Allah blesses us, we are obligated to make it known. All praise belongs to Allah, so this is not bragging.

And then, there are the benefits.

I am offering you the benefits from my many years of piano practice and performance; of encyclopedic study of history, science, and other disciplines; and of music composition and my knowledge of music theory. For whatever reason — Allah knows best — I never did any of these things in pursuit of a career, of employment, of an academic position, or of fame and wealth. I did it for love — for love of knowledge, for love of music, for love of serious accomplishment in our shared humanity, and, above all, for love of Allah.

I have never desired to be an entertainer. That is not my path in life. American life — and, more and more, the life of societies throughout the world — is saturated with entertainment. The people are slaves — corporate slaves — and the only alternative they see and feel to their daily drudgery is a few moments of pleasure. Those moments may last for a few hours in the evening, a few days on a long weekend, a few weeks of summer vacation, or even several years of useless and pleasant retirement. But they are just moments. Everything else is your life as a slave.

You dream of comfortable slavery.

I am offering myself to those who want the freedom and dignity that Allah intends for human life. I am offering myself to those who want to struggle for freedom from corporate slavery. I am offering myself to serious people.

I recommend listening to symphonic music for the same purpose that I recommend that you study “The World at War” — we are living in a world at war. The great war between the Christian powers and the followers of Abraham, which began in the “Year of the Elephant” (570 of the Christian Calendar) rages on. The war between the Europeans and the rest of the world seems to have ended with European world domination almost complete by 1914, but it continues. The war on African Americans, which began in English North America in 1619, also rages on.

Muslim nations have been reduced to dependency, or chaos. The “Global Economy” continues to reduce almost all non-European nations to abject wage-slavery to European banks and corporations. As long as African Americans accept a life — in varying degrees of discomfort and insecurity — of corporate enslavement, we are allowed to live in relative peace, with only occasional, though shocking, episodes of murderous terrorism.

Nothing happens without the permission of Allah.

World War II was filmed — all of it. Every major nation involved had movie cameras on the battlefield, in cities under attack, in the cockpits of warplanes. War is not about the weapons. War is strategy. The Messenger of Allah said this. War is strategy. You cannot learn strategy without studying history. The wonderful thing about studying the visually recorded history of WWII is that we learn the great benefits of good strategy and the terrible price of bad strategy.

People are at war with us. Because we are Muslims. Because we are not Europeans. Because we are African Americans. It is the promise of Allah.

My service is to help you learn history, to help you learn what is called “science”, and to help you with listening to symphonic music. I have been studying these things for over 60 years. You cannot understand what I am offering you in five minutes. In five hours, you may begin to realize that it will take more than a few hours to understand what needs to be learned. People are at war with you, and you must engage in hundred of hours of focused and determined study to counter your enemy, defeat him, and establish humane conditions in the world.

Are you with me?

In symphonic music, Allah has provided us with a weapon that is second (a very distant second) only to the Qur’an in enabling us to defeat the enemy. Ninety-nine percent of Americans have failed to develop the faculty for hearing music. You have been indoctrinated with the idea that music is entertainment. When you hear musical sounds, only the pleasure-seeking entertainment-loving part of your brain is functioning. The parts of your brain required for communication remain deaf. In order to benefit from the great wealth of knowledge in symphonic music, you need to cultivate the ability of the communication centers in your brain to hear, when music is performed.

The Europeans planned one thing or another when they composed symphonic music — and when they filmed WWII — and Allah planned something else.

The world we live in — the “modern world” — came about as a result of the titanic struggle between the European Christians and the Muslim powers. In their Middle Ages, the Europeans found themselves surrounded and hemmed in — by the vast ocean to the west, by icy wastes to the north, by black African Muslims who had almost conquered Western Europe being pushed back with great difficulty to the south, by waves of Asian nations — Avars, Magyars, and Mongols — surging in from the east, and by the rising power of the Ottoman Empire consuming Europe from the southeast.

In the 15th century, they sent ships out into the ocean, in an effort to outflank the Muslims. By the end of that century, voyages across the Atlantic had encountered new lands and a previously unimagined opportunity for expansion in wealth and power, and voyages south into the Atlantic and east around the southern tip of Africa had led to the vast wealth of the Indies. The Europeans had outflanked the Muslim powers, and began their rise to global power. This is the “modern world”. There is no continuous history of “Western Civilization”; this is a myth design to hypnotize the world into accepting the inevitability and permanence of European domination. “The pen is mightier than the sword” works to preserve the evil empire, as well as to destroy it.

Are you with me? I am with Allah and his Messenger. The powers-that-be are opposed to Allah and his Messenger. There is no neutrality. Are you with me?

I am offering myself.
